Who is responsible
The controller of the personal data described here is SAIA Digital F.Z.E., Dubai, United Arab Emirates. DawaiTrace is its product and this website (dawaitrace.io) is its marketing site.
For any privacy question or to exercise a right, write to privacy@dawaitrace.io.
What this site does and does not collect
- There is no account, no sign-up form, no contact form and no newsletter on this site.
- There are no advertising trackers, and we do not sell personal data.
- Fonts are self-hosted: your browser makes no request to Google Fonts.
- Audience measurement with Google Analytics happens only if you accept it (see below).
Cookies, analytics and your consent choice
Google Analytics 4 (only with your consent)
If you click “Accept analytics”, we load Google Analytics 4 to measure the audience of this site. Before that, no request is sent to Google and no analytics cookie is set.
- Data: pseudonymous usage data: pages viewed and interactions measured automatically by Google Analytics (such as scrolling, outbound link clicks, file downloads and site search), approximate location derived by Google, and device and browser information. GA4 does not log or store IP addresses.
- Purpose: audience measurement.
- Legal basis: your consent, art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
- Google signals and ad personalisation: disabled.
- Recipients: Google Ireland Ltd and Google LLC (USA). Transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Retention in Google Analytics: 2 months.
- Cookies:
_gaand_ga_<container-id>, with a lifetime of 13 months that is not extended when you come back.
You can withdraw your consent at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer of every page. Choosing “Reject” there stops collection and deletes the Google Analytics cookies from this site.
Your consent choice
We store your choice (accept or reject) in your browser's localStorage (key dt-consent) for 6 months, only to remember it; it is not shared with anyone. After 6 months we ask you again. If your browser blocks storage, we cannot remember your choice and analytics stays off.
Emails you send us
The “Book a demo”, “Talk to founder” and similar buttons open your own mail client with a pre-filled message; nothing is sent until you send it yourself. We never see the message before then.
- Purpose: to answer you and follow up (demo, pilot and investor requests).
- Legal basis: steps prior to entering into a contract, art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, or our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Hosting of the mailbox: OVHcloud (France).
- Retention: 3 years after our last contact.
Hosting
This site is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS Amplify Hosting), region eu-west-1 (Ireland). Pages are delivered through AWS's global content delivery network, so request data may be processed at the edge location nearest to you. To deliver and secure the site, technical request data (your IP address, user agent and the requested URL) is processed. The legal basis is our legitimate interest, art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. AWS acts as our processor.
Your rights and complaints
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, rectify or erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. The laws that give you these rights include:
- the GDPR, for visitors in the EU and EEA;
- UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (PDPL);
- the KSA Personal Data Protection Law.
To exercise a right, email privacy@dawaitrace.io.
You may also lodge a complaint with:
- the supervisory authority of your EU/EEA country of residence or work (for example the CNIL in France);
- the UAE Data Office;
- SDAIA in Saudi Arabia.
EU representative
We have not designated a representative in the European Union. We rely on the exemption in art. 27(2)(a) GDPR: our processing is occasional, does not include large-scale processing of special categories of data or of data relating to criminal convictions and offences, and is unlikely to result in a risk to the rights and freedoms of individuals.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
